In the court of public opinion
October 30, 2026. A federal judge in Chicago told McDonald's the McRib lawsuit does not get tossed with the tray. The claim: the patty was pressed with fake rib ridges so customers would believe they were eating real ribs.
Judge April Perry let the core deception claims proceed. She wrote that expecting rib meat from a sandwich called McRib is “not unreasonable or fanciful.” This is not a verdict. It is an order to face the case. McDonald's says the suit distorts the facts.
The McRib has been vanishing and reappearing since 1981. $MCRIB showed up the same weekend, microphone in hand. We are not a law firm and we are not the restaurant. We are the chorus. Mission: bring back the McRib.
EVIDENCE #1: FAKE RIBS
